I had a comfortable stay in a well-located hotel with great amenities. While the restaurant food was enjoyable, the breakfast left something to be desired. The service was mostly friendly, but there were some hiccups with the check-in process that could be improved.

Rooms
8.0
I stayed in a studio apartment that was spacious and clean, equipped with all the necessary facilities. However, I did notice some areas that felt a bit dated, like the old curtains and the general decor.
Service
6.0
Most of the staff were very helpful, especially Dan during check-in, but there was one experience with a less than friendly staff member that marred my impression.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location was fantastic, within easy walking distance of the CBD and the waterfront. I loved how close it was to everything I wanted to explore in Hobart.
Dining
7.0
I found the restaurant's dinner to be very good, though breakfast options could be improved as the choices were fairly limited and the food didn't impress everyone.
Facilities
8.0
With great in-room laundry facilities and reliable parking options, I appreciated the convenience the hotel provided. The room service was timely and the food was delicious.

My stay at The Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel was good overall! The apartment was spacious and well-appointed with modern amenities. However, I did experience some issues with noise from late-night guests on a Saturday. The service was a bit hit or miss, with excellent staff at times but also some frustrating experiences regarding check-out policies.

Rooms
7.0
The apartment I stayed in was bright and airy, equipped with a kitchen and a washer/dryer, which made my stay very comfortable. There were some minor issues, such as an outdated mattress and tight space for bathroom doors.
Service
6.0
Most of the staff were pleasant and helpful, especially the manager who assisted me when I needed to extend my stay. However, there were moments when the service fell short, particularly concerning handling late check-out requests.
Location
9.0
The hotel’s location was fantastic, just a short walk from the waterfront, making it easy to explore Hobart. I enjoyed strolling down to the Salamanca Markets on Saturday.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast was fantastic with a great variety of choices. The poached eggs were a standout! However, I found the coffee to be lukewarm on occasion.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel offered good facilities including a restaurant and room service. I loved having a kitchen with a washer/dryer in my apartment, though the small frying pan could pose a challenge for larger meals.

7.0/10

I had a mixed experience at The Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel. The location is stellar, super close to the waterfront and major attractions. However, I faced some real issues with the room allocation and cleanliness, which left me feeling disappointed, especially after having high expectations based on previous stays.

Rooms
6.0
The room I ended up in was different from what I expected and not as advertised. Initially, there was a mix-up with the bed configurations, and I even got sent to a loft apartment that had two double beds instead of the requested setup. Eventually, I returned to the original room, which had two toilets but only one bathroom. On top of that, the cleanliness was off with dirty windows and scattered toys from previous guests.
Service
6.0
The reception staff were friendly but seemed inexperienced, which added to my frustration during the room swap process. It felt like they weren't addressing my issues as well as they could have.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is fantastic! It's just a short walk to the docks, shops, and cafes, making it super convenient to explore Hobart. I loved how everything was close by.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed the dining options, especially the buffet breakfast and a lovely dinner I had in the hotel restaurant. The staff were wonderful, and I appreciated the variety of fresh and local options, though I had an issue getting breakfast served right up to closing time.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offers decent facilities like a washing machine in the apartment, which was convenient. However, some things felt dated and needed attention, like the uncomfortable sofa and poor-quality kitchen utensils.

5.2/10

I had a lovely stay at The Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel. the location is superb, being just a short walk from the marina and Salamanca markets. My apartment was spacious and well-equipped, although the kitchen could use additional utensils for optimal convenience. The daily cleaning service was a nice touch, making it feel like home. While the staff were generally friendly, there were moments where communication could have been smoother.

Rooms
9.0
My 2-bedroom apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable with all the major kitchen utensils. I appreciated the ample cupboard space and the daily room service. However, the kitchen could benefit from a few more supplies to enhance the cooking experience.
Service
8.0
The staff were generally friendly and efficient, greeting me warmly upon check-in. However, I found the reliance on technology for room service a bit inconvenient, as I would have preferred a more traditional approach.
Location
10.0
The hotel’s location is a standout feature, being so close to everything I wanted to visit in Hobart. I particularly enjoyed the short walks to the wharf for fresh fish and chips and to the Salamanca markets on Saturdays.
Dining
8.0
I had a pleasant dining experience at the restaurant, with a wide selection that catered to various tastes. Although some meals could use more flavor, the service was attentive and made dining enjoyable.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities included a well-stocked kitchen and laundry, which were very convenient. However, the parking situation was a bit challenging, as it seemed to depend on luck.

6.4/10

I had a pretty good stay at The Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the waterfront, and the staff were courteous and helpful. However, the room amenities felt a bit basic and could use some updating. Overall, it was a functional place to crash, but not particularly luxurious.

Rooms
7.0
The room was spacious and clean, but the decor was quite basic and felt a bit sterile. I also noticed there was no safe, which was a letdown for a hotel of this kind.
Service
8.0
The staff were generally friendly and helpful, though I did have one experience where the bar service felt a bit off. A welcoming smile can go a long way!
Location
9.0
The location was one of the highlights of my stay. It was a great spot, within walking distance to both the harbor and city center.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was decent, with a good variety, but I expected a bit more in terms of quality. Some of the options were just average.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offers essential facilities like room service and laundry, which were handy. However, the lack of air conditioning in my room was disappointing during my stay.
